The outcomes of the WARMCOASTS project are presented across several areas, all made fully open-access to foster collaboration and future research in sea-level science.

A central achievement is WALIS (the World Atlas of Last Interglacial Shorelines), which brings together existing and newly reviewed data on Last Interglacial sea-level indicators using a standardised template. The first release of the database was supported by a Special Issue in Earth System Science Data.

The project also generated a wide range of scientific publications, all directly linked to WARMCOASTS activities. Complementing these are openly shared data and code, made available through Zenodo to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

In addition, the project supported community exchange through presentations at international meetings and conferences, where team members convened sessions and workshops. Recordings of selected presentations are available on YouTube, while posters and oral contributions are archived in FigShare.

Finally, focus was also placed on the training of early career researchers (ECRs). The project produced video tutorials derived from its datasets and models, and it supported numerous PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s theses that contributed to advancing coastal and sea-level science.
