Outreach videos

As part of the project, we created outreach videos designed to make coastal and sea-level science accessible to a wider audience. These videos highlight our research activities and explain fundamental concepts in a clear and engaging way, and were shared with the public through YouTube.

News reports

During the project, we contributed to four news pieces, mostly through interviews with magazines and newspapers. These featured our research activities and findings, helping to bring coastal and sea-level science to a wider audience.

VeNETO NIGHT

At the Venetotonight public research night on September 27 2024, adults and children learned how ice ages, climate, and sea-level changes are linked. The WARMCOASTS team presented an interactive, physical model of sea-level and glaciers in which participants operated pumps to alternate between stadial and interstadial stages. Participants were also able to touch and examine different kinds of sediments to learn how the WARMCOAST project identified past sea-level indicators in the field.
